    I don't think it will cause any significant condensation issues if it isn't broadly exposed to air. If it is between the wrap and the canvas, my feeling is it wouldn't cause any issues.

    I don't entirely understand how yurts are put together, but mine will be a permanent installation. Are there measures I could take to better seal it? Such as spray foaming the seam at the base?
