Is it possible or safe to hang a hammock chair in a yurt with 2x4 rafters?

Does anyone have experience building an earthen or cob floor for their yurt? We have been going round and round about foundations. We know quite a few people here who live in cob houses. I love the floors and My Yurt will be an art studio . I need warm floors.
