    I would look at Bill Coperthwaite's yurt plans: Yurt plans (http://www.insearchofsimplicity.net/yurt-plans.html) He is the one who kind of got this yurt craze in America going. :)

    Good point hobbit. A simple inexpensive corral or open sided shed is trad for critters. A 16' yurt is a solid week of work for a skilled guy that knows how to get after it.
