Insulting Article

I wouldn't call that an article. It seemed like the main point was that someone spent $500 more on a Groovy Yurt instead of one from Pacific or Colorado yurts. Not really any other info there, except for bits about "Gweneth Paltrow".
 
ahah! That is funny! you will always encounter "experts" who will publish something like this without even making the smallest inquiry...
They would have probably gotten another take on the situation if they had taken just 10 minutes to search about the type of yurts they're comparing, real prices, etc...

Darn that $500 dollars that could have been spent on fuel & medicine! It's not like those other yurts mentioned _need_ the insulation packages at additional expense...

Man, those Groovy Yurts are just too groovy to be a poor man's home/shelter! I mean, it's not like spending $8k on your house is superfluous or anything. And to get a structure as chic as a yurt, especially when you're trying to keep access to somewhat clean water, that's downright hypocritical! I mean what portable/temporary structure not requiring a platform/foundation that has insulation, can be reasonably sealed against the elements, and take a snow load are you going to find? A wall tent? I think not!
 
I don't think Groovy Yurts will mind to much if everyone adds a yurt to their Christmas shopping list.

I know I would mind it. HoHoHo!
