Any idea what caused all the unevenness? Any chance you can post photos of your deck? Thanks.

Our contractor seemed to think there was some sagging. It’s a really well constructed base so Not really sure if we agree with that. It seems like he started putting down the self-leveling and things just went wrong. I will post some pictures tomorrow

The door rafters have no notch and no set screw and are cut at a different angle that allows them to sit flush on top of the door. Before you put the roof on, predrill through the tops of the rafters into the door header and set a screw in the top of both door rafters.

The floor float sounds like you had a handyman who didn't know what he was doing, sorry to say Yikes... I'm not sure what to recommend in that situation except maybe don't give that one any more work unless he can prove he knows what he's doing in any given area.

Sorry for the radio silence! Time crunch here to get this up before the rain comes. So far so good, figured out the rafters and patched up the rough spots on the floor so I think our flooring will work after a bit more tweaking.

Thank you!!! We are 90% done and it pouring here We have a massive dehum running and it’ll be ok. One problem is that the exterior wall is like a foot short. We gave up for the day and will re access tomorrow. Over pretty happy we got this far with the help of 4 people. Wow what a huge project!!
