Thanks, I enjoy learning and doing ever aspect of my projects.

Here are the boards layer out. There will be a 4 foot box in the middle then the beams radiating out from there. Im doing it that way so the floor joists cross as many deck joists as possible. That should make my floor bomb proof

Here is the progress so far. It will need a few more joists put in depending on the angle that the floor boards cross, but I'm getting there.

I'm building a wool picker to fluff out raw wool for

insulation

. If anyone is interested I will post pics of it.

How did this work out for you? I would like to have a yurt constructed we are also in NW NJ. Any trouble with permits, etc? Any guidance or if you know of a contractor etc we would greatly appreciate the guidance!
