Moving and need to sell this gorgeous, custom designed 8 meter/26+ foot custom yurt/ger I purchased from the Jinyuan Li Yurt Company as a custom order. It is more attractive than the pine full circle accordion design of most domestic versions that cost around $20k or more for that size with a solar arc and french doors. The first photo is an example of the style of the outer shell and same roof and wall colors, but this one hasn\’t been built yet. It’s brand new in the original shipping crates.
This is an interactive view of the style I got which is a cross between a yurt and a ger. This one doesn’t have any support beams in the center…
The gold flourishing, fabric, and covers on the top corners aren\’t included, but you can get a better view of the style of stained wood, sections, and curved wood of the ceiling. I love how this yurt has stained, curved, wood sections that make the structure more sturdy. It also has french doors, a solar arc, and the dome opens with a bug screen for ventilation.
The dimensions, exterior colors, and layer descriptions are included in the pictures. We will also include your choice of tall milgard windows and walnut-colored hardwood flooring for a portion of the space. Contact me to see pictures of the windows and flooring. You\’d need to get additional flooring for the kitchen, etc.
A few example photos show how it could look with a fabric of your choice and paint.
The crates are too heavy to move from where they are unless you have a trailer with a winch and floor jacks, etc. If you don\’t, the buyer will have to transfer contents from the crates into a moving truck, van, or truck/trailer combination for transport. We can help you load it. The dimensions of the crates are 5x12x4 and 8x8x4, so the contents inside are smaller than that. The longer one has all the wood and the smaller one has all the fabric layers.
You don\’t have to deal with all the work to order a custom yurt from overseas and wait for months and months, and deal with the hassle of finding a broker, paying extra shipping on top of shipping, extra tariffs, taxes, port congestion fees, and paying the warehouse to load the truck as I did. Hoping whichever lucky people get this beautiful yurt will share photos once completed. Moving and sad to have to let this go, but if my dream of owning a yurt is no longer a reality, at least I was able to help you to realize your dream of yurt living… Contact me for more photos
