$12k with off-grid solar (panels, batteries, inverter). Happy to talk details with interested parties. It’s a 30′ Pacific Yurt, tall walls, one standard door in back, French doors in front, six windows, snow & wind load kit.
10 years old, single owner.

We took apart the yurt last month and it is now disassembled in a shipping container on our property.

We enjoyed living in the yurt while we were building our home. Now that it’s built, we no longer need the yurt. And the county got wind of it. FYI Nevada County is very challenging to get a permit for a permanent habitable structure for yurts – buyer consider yourself warned.

Our price is below market value because we just want to get rid of it. That is not an invitation for lowball offers. Price is firm. Offers for less than asking will be ignored. Offers for trades will be ignored. Craigslist crackheads will be ignored.

If you are interested in coming out to look at the yurt, or have questions that can be answered – please reach out by email with your preferred contact method (phone/text/email) and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. I no longer include my phone number in these ads due to the prolific number of spam bots.

Thanks for looking!

  2. Hi there! My husband and I are very interested in your yurt! Please email us, [email protected]

We just bought property in Idaho and need a yurt until we can finish the construction of our home. Thanks so much!

  3. Hi! Looks like there is some interest already in your yurt. My wife and I are also very interested in purchasing the yurt. We live in Northern California, near Oregon. Please let me know via email @ [email protected] if it is still available or not. Thank you, kindly.

  7. Oh and … The top dome is the clear model. It is opening and we still have the telescoping pole for the mechanism. It does not have the built in screen (that wasn’t an option at the time). I did install a fan and was planning to include that in the sale, if the buyer wanted it.

  8. Hey, is the yurt still available? I would be interested with the solar panels. What size system is it? My email is [email protected].

  9. Hey there! Still available? Very interested if so . Email is : [email protected]

  10. Hi my partner and I are very interested as well with solar panels etc
    Our contact is
    [email protected]
    Thanks!

  11. Oh and … The solar system details are:
    - solar panels #2 that are 210 watts
    - solar MPPT charge controller
    - outback (2000 watt?) Charge controller
    - outback mate, offers advanced monitoring
    - remote generator starting (we’re not selling our generator)
    - battery #4 that are 467 amp hours (dunno how much life is left)

The system worked great for us at 37°N latitude, except in December and January; when we’d often run the generator for 1-2 hours per day to top up the batteries
