Question building on wet ground

Hello! Our only location to build our yurt is basically saturated in the winter months. It dries out in the summer, but our concern is for the yurt to sink in the winter. Our plan is to put some fill down, sandbox style, and put our cement piers on top of that. We'll also try to add some drainage to take some of the water away. Any idea how deep the fill should be? Any tips on this adventure? Thank you!

Any reason you can't dig down and put in supports?

danspiel you are asking questions that need to be assessed by looking at the site. Photos at minimum are necessary plus a detail about the type of soil and the drainage of the soil. Basic stuff.
